Job description: An excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Manager & a QA Manager to join a leading plastics manufacturing company.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage production schedules for all manufacturing equipment.
- Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and production processes.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA and SQF).
- Train and support a bilingual workforce, ensuring employees are well-versed in production and safety protocols.
- Implement a preventative maintenance program and Lean Manufacturing tools to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Production/Operation Management, or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations (SQF and OSHA).
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and visual) and proven leadership capabilities.
- Experience with reporting procedures, record-keeping, and managing a diverse team.
- Basic or conversational Spanish is preferred; experience in packaging product manufacturing is a plus.
