Job description: QA TesterHarrisburg, PA(Occasionally Onsite)Face2Face InterviewLong Term ContractJD:We are seeking a dedicated QA Tester with over 4 years of relevant experience in an agile testing environment and at least 3 years of iOS mobile testing experience. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills and is local to the Harrisburg, PA area.Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Execution:
  • Review and understand the Test Team work plan.
  • Develop, construct, and execute various types of tests including product, system, unit, load, volume, and network tests.
  • Define product test plans and criteria for acceptance.
  • Create test models for product tests and release control (plans, data, and scripts).
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Assist in managing and directing Test Team processes.
  • Guide and assist testers as needed.
  • Work with Test Team members to enhance their testing skills and build technical expertise.
  • Coordinate and execute assembly or product tests with the Test Team, Application Team, and Program Manager.
  • Issue & Risk Management:
  • Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve issues and risks affecting work.
  • Develop contingency plans as necessary.
  • Identify and track issues, risks, and action items.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures.
  • Resolve testing process questions and issues.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and apply relevant practices.
  • Communication & Reporting:
  • Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
  • Conduct structured walk-throughs and inspections; resolve issues.
  • Work with users to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • 4+ years of QA testing experience in an agile environment.
  • 3+ years of iOS mobile testing experience.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in developing contingency plans and resolving issues promptly.
