Job description: Who You’ll Work With:We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to join our US Retail sales team in Nashville, TN.This position is responsible for growing sales and revenue of the Digitally Identified Target Client. (DITC) client base within their assigned territory. This role will heavily leverage data analysis and digital outreach to provide a targeted, personalized client experience, and encompasses a unique opportunity to inform and influence new distribution approaches. A data-driven mindset is key along with a strong team orientation. The US Retail sales team is responsible for developing and servicing sales of all AB products with financial advisors. The candidate will interact with financial advisors and their team members and is expected to take an entrepreneurial approach to growing sales as well as servicing a base of AB products and services.What You’ll Do:Build long-lasting relationships with DITC financial advisors in a targeted approach by leveraging data and digital technologyProactively develop business through a data-driven client segmentation strategy and execute on targeted sales tactics to identify, prioritize, and convert new producersAnalyze data to deepen understanding of customer/prospect business needs, evaluate the potential of prospects, and test, measure and refine tactics to effectively sell AB solutionsEngage customers and communicate AB’s thought leadership, solutions and value add services across multiple channelsDeep interest in establishing new approaches with a commitment to generating business resultsAssistance in novel content creation for client and prospect engagementWhat We’re Looking For:A degree in finance or similar field.3-5 years of client-facing experience growing sales in the financial services industryStrong written and verbal skillsDemonstrated experience consultative selling and relationship managementBeing adept at analyzing data to drive engagement and outcomesStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressureAbility to be self-directed and work independently, with proven decision-making skills and sound business judgmentBeing collaborative and open to other viewpointsDemonstrating agility and innovation when faced with complexity and/or adversityProficiency in of Microsoft Office with the ability to learn other sales enablement tools; CRM experience is preferredRequired SkillsSeries 7 and 63 licensesLocation: Nashville, TNWho We Are:We are a leading global investment management firm offering high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, retail investors, and private-wealth clients in major markets around the globe.
