Our focus is to provide an accessible, high-quality, and developmentally appropriate educational experience that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development for children birth to 5 years of age in a nurturing environment. Our will instruction focus on language and communication development through participation in exploration, play and socialization opportunities, activities of daily living, and evidence-based curriculum activities.DutiesTeachers are responsible for coordinating the curriculum, providing age-appropriate instruction, managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom, maintaining children’s hygiene, monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns, working with parents to ensure that children are learning and socializing in a positive way and assisting with preparing and serving meals and providing feeding assistance. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment. The teacher will actively engage, encourage, care for and nurture the children. Teachers of babies and toddlers will read and play with them to introduce basic concepts. Preschool-age teachers prepare children for kindergarten and teach pre-readiness skills, using play and instructional techniques. When caring for school-age children before and/or after school, teachers will help children to prepare for the day and/or participate in afterschool activities like play, arts and crafts, and complete homework. - Eligible to work in the United States
- Must have completed 15 hours of SC DSS-approved annual training or be willing to complete.
- Associates Degree or higher
- 6 months or more of experience in a licensed child care facility
- Be 18 years of age.
- Have or Attain Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Provide a record of immunizations.
- Must clear state and federal background checks and pass a health screening.
- Have a valid driver’s license

Expected salary: $12 – 15 per hour
