Minimum 3 years experience is similiar supervisory role. Previous experience in the dairy industry preferred.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or related field.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Teams.
Shift is primarily 1st shift but can be asked to work later or earlier to help train/observe/audit a process.Is there a possibility this role will be extended? YesResponsibilitiesROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
– Supports the plant operations department in the area of Quality and Food Safety. Key contact for food safety regulatory authorities and auditing firms.
– Ensure that established procedures, verifications and validations are being followed for production quality, state and federal guidelines.
– Leads and supports internal and external audits.
– Maintains quality and food safety records.
– Performs records review and follow up on variances.
– Utilizes root cause analysis to resolve food safety and quality variances.
– Provides supervision of QA Staff in scheduling and daily activities.
– Provides back up where needed for QA Coordinator and Laboratory.
– Trains and instructs employees in quality and food safety standards and processes.RequirementsROLE REQUIREMENTS:

– Must possess the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
– Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingess to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
– Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding envrionment.
– Knowledge of M3, Factory track, Power-Bi, QA studios nice to have.
– Knowledge of 6-S Safety regulations nice to have
– Understands 6-S, FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act), SQF (Safe Quality Food) and HACCP (Hazard, Analysis, Critical, Control, Points)Skills
