Job description: Our clients Interconnection Management System Project is implementing an enhanced experience for the customers submitting solar interconnection requests via Clean Power Research’s PowerClerk platform. The project objective is speeding up the interconnection application process, reducing errors through automation, and enabling faster system changes with fewer support personnel. The PowerClerk platform is a SaaS solution that will be configured to satisfy regulatory requirements associated with solar interconnection requests. The project team has a need for an additional QA Analyst as the platform is being deployed throughout multiple clients jurisdictions. Candidates should have experience with customer web facing applications, working on an Agile team and having initiative to work independently after receiving direction to complete testing activities. In order to develop testing requirements and scripts, the candidate must be comfortable with interpreting regulatory commission driven requirements and terminology associated with the interconnection process. Business Analysis experience is preferred. Initially, the focus will be on testing, After the initial implementations throughout various clients jurisdictions, there will be business analysis activities to develop new future platform enhancements and support evolving regulatory requests.Job Description– Review requirements and identify areas to be tested.
– Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
– Define, collect, and document data for testing.
– Identify, log and review defects.
– Maintain and retire test cases and test scripts at the end of the work effort.
– Maintain traceability between test cases/scripts and requirements.
– Ensure that all testing results are easily accessible.
– Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.
– Review test, validation, and pilot results with Test Lead to ensure that they meet the entry and exit criteria.
– Create framework components and reusable functions for automation and performance testing.
– Build user documents and script maintenance instructions for automation and performance testing scripts.
– 3 – 5 years of QA testing experience
