Job description: Hope you are doing good,Urgent RequirementJob Title: QA Engineer Automated 2Location : Austin, TX (Remote within US)Duration : 7 months Contract with possibility to extensionClient: State of TX/Texas Education Agency (TEA)Job DescriptionThe Software QA Analyst performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the QA division of IT (Information Technology). Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems. This position will work with the project development teams to provide the following Software Testing Services:1) Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases2) Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail3) Perform manual testing and data validation4) Perform advanced SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data5) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team6) Execute performance and accessibility testing7) Review user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate applications or to improve existing systems.8) Collaborate with the project team for sprint/release work on tasks such as providing testing effort estimates, resolving defects or issues and providing status on work assignments or issues.The QA group supports and facilitates the implementation of all apps/projects for the ClientCANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSYearsRequired/PreferredExperience7RequiredTesting complex Web Applications7RequiredTesting all phases of Software Development Life Cycle3RequiredDatabase/SQL Language3RequiredXML, JSON, API Testing2RequiredAutomation Testing experience2PreferredExperience in API testing (SOAP and REST).1PreferredTest automation experience using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks1PreferredExperience with test frameworks like Junit, TestNG1PreferredWAPT Pro/JMeter or other performance testing tools1PreferredPrevious experience with Zephyr Scale preferred1PreferredPrevious experience with Jira preferred
