Job description: JOB TITLE: Quality AnalystPROJECT DESCRIPTION: The DSS Quality Management team integrates all technical and quality assurance aspects of DSS projects, including planning, implementation, and assessment. This includes the process of auditing and analyzing the systems which produce web-based and mobile applications to improve their functionality and add value to the users of the application along with minimizing the processing times for reporting. The Quality Assurance Analyst ensures that the application’s features and functions are defect free and conforms to the highest quality industry standards.Tasks & Duties

• Initiate and implement testing

• Identify user stories and translate them into Test cases as required.

• Create Test cases vs. RTM Matrix against the user stories to support application development.

• Ensure that the application development is according to the quality assurance standards.

• Provide Management Reporting and Information dissemination

• Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented.

• Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback.

• Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to spec and on time.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 Years Experience with QA Methodology and QA Validations to ensure the Quality Assurance Control.

• Minimum 4 Years Expertise in QA process well acquainted with all phases of SDLC and STLC and had experience in testing very complicated applications.

• Minimum 4 Years Hands-on Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle.

• Minimum 4 Years Expertise in working with Selenium Web Driver using TestNG java framework.

• Minimum 4 Years Expertise in writing Java script in Eclipse IDE and expertise in inheritance, concatenation and all OOPS concept.

• Minimum 4 Years Hands-on Experience on developing a framework using a design pattern – Page Object Model.

• Minimum 4 Years Experience in testing Middleware technologies Web Services (SOAP, REST) Testing using SOAPUI.

• Minimum 4 Years Good experience in validating XML and XML Schema, XML Parser.

• Minimum 4 Years Worked on cross browser IE, Firefox and Chrome Driver.

• Minimum 4 Years Extensive experience GITLAB as version control tool Hands-on experience in writing own CSS Selectors, Xpath expressions to identify web elements.

• Minimum 4 Years Techniques to automate Ajax calls, Child Windows and IFrames.

• Minimum 4 Years Hands-on experience Working with TestNG for Automation testing Reports.

• Minimum 4 Years Hands-on experience on Working with Jenkins for Automation continue integration, job scheduling and configuration

• Minimum 4 Years Hands-on experience in automating mobile applications using APPIUM and Angler applications with Protractor tool (Should be able to work independently).

Mandatory Requirements:

• Must work in NYC area (Onsite position requires applicant to be able to commute or transfer to NYC).
• Must have prior NYC agency working experience.
