Job description: JOB TITLE: Quality Analyst_2PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Fair Fares is a City program designed to serve more than 300,000 working low-income New Yorkers where transit expenses often exceed 10 percent of their family budgets, limiting their ability to access jobs and forcing them to forgo other necessities. This project is to automate the selection of the correct clients and send that selection to the group responsible for creating the fare benefit card. NYCT is rolling out a new fare payment method called OMNY. All reduced fare benefit programs will need to move to OMNY and Fair Fares, as a reduced fare benefit program will also need to move to OMNY as a result. To comply with this payment method, ITS will be initiating the Fair Fares project which will introduce new features and functionality to support and integrate with OMNY, the new MTA fare payment system. This includes building a custom interchange between Fair Fares and OMNY, supporting multiple OMNY fare payment methods, and integrating OMNY into existing Fair Fares client engagement workflows, outcomes, and communications.Tasks & Duties

  • Initiate and implement testing
  • Identify user stories and translate them into Test cases as required
  • Create Test cases vs. RTM Matrix against the user stories to support application development
  • Ensure that the application development is according to the quality assurance standards
  • Execute Integration test cases covering all integration points with other applications
  • Coordinate defect triage calls with design and development team.
  • Coordinate with UAT team on UAT test strategy, and UAT test data.
  • Coordinate UAT defect triage calls with UAT team
  • Help team with performance testing
  • Identify test automation scenarios
  • Facilitate Postproduction verification for various releases.
  • Provide Management Reporting and Information dissemination
  • Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented.
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to spec and on time.
  • Managing QA team activities – QA effort estimations, task allocations, creation of QA status JIRA dashboards and reports, facilitating QA signoff on meeting the defined exit criteria.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 9 Years Experience with QA Methodology and QA Validations to ensure the Quality Assurance Control. Expertise in QA process well acquainted with all phases of SDLC and STLC and had experience in testing very complicated applications. Hands-on Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Minimum 9 Years Expertise in working with Selenium Web Driver using TestNG java framework. Expertise in writing Java script in Eclipse IDE and expertise in inheritance, concatenation and all OOPS concept. Hands-on Experience on developing a framework using a design pattern – Page Object Model.
  • Minimum 9 Years Experience in testing Middleware technologies Web Services (SOAP, REST) Testing using SOAPUI. Good experience in validating XML and XML Schema, XML Parser. Worked on cross browser IE, Firefox and Chrome Driver. Hands-on experience in writing own CSS Selectors, Xpath expressions to identify web elements. Techniques to automate Ajax calls, Child Windows and IFrames.
  • Minimum 9 Years Hands-on experience Working with TestNG for Automation testing Reports. Hands-on experience on Working with Jenkins for Automation continue integration, job scheduling and configuration. Extensive experience GITLAB as version control tool. Experience in Performance testing using JMETER, LOADRUNNER.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must work in NYC area (Onsite position requires applicant to be able to commute or transfer to NYC).
  • Must have prior NYC agency working experience.
